A truly beautiful gin that without a doubt stands alone for its unique flavour! A delicate spice rolls over you're tongue with hints of the vast Atlantic ocean coming through. Also worth mentioning is the stunning packaging design which is presented both on the bottle and tissue paper when bought, I would buy the Barra Gin again soley for the sea inspired marble affect that is a wash on the bottle. Put all this together and you really do have one of the best gins on the market.
Great gin. Bought this as a present for my girlfriend at Christmas, she ended up getting 2 bottles as her pal bought her one too! She loves it. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed Barra Gin myself. Will definitely be buying it again. A+++++++++++++++++

Such a treasure of a place. The guides are very helpful. The history of the castle is interesting even up until very recent times. Well worth a visit.
Pretty small but wonderfully restored. There are no official tours but you can find your way around quite easily and most things are pretty self explanitory. The ferrymen will even give you a 360 spin around the castle on your way back to the mainland.

The photos of Dunard Hostel put me off, I was expecting to be disappointed. But on arrival we were delighted . The lady that runs the hostel made us very welcome , the views from our bedroom window were amazing, the kitchen was big and clean, the living room is spacious and comfortable. Our bedroom was basic but clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place. I will be going back.
Amazingly clean and friendly. Close to the ferry with a tremendous view of the bay. Beds were comfortable and warm, kitchen spacious and well supplied, common are charming with a qaint coal stove for amazing warmth and ambiance. Couldnt ask for more.
