Busy Friday yet got a walk-in table with excellent local lamb and seafood, prepared with an Indian twist
Great food in an busy but intimate setting in the unlikely Castlebay location. Try the prawn Achari for local produce spiced well.

Clean and tidy, but very overpriced. Restaurant extortionate. We had to leave early to catch a ferry the next day, so were told a continental breakfast would be left for us. When we went downstairs for it, there was no lighting, no kettle with which to make a hot drink, and no bread to make toast. Disappointing considering the cost of the hotel! Additionally, they had already checked someone into our room when we arrived, so we had to wait whilst they were moved!
Have been in a few times just for drinks and it's very popular. Had food here also which was excellent. I had cockles as a starter , and then monkfish wrapped in pancetta on a bed of mash potatoes ( had to ask for mash no problem though) with peas in a good sauce. Then had sticky toffee pudding and ice cream , lovely. Barstaff/waiting staff were very good at their jobs and also nice and friendly and chatted if not to busy. It's better if you book a table that's how popular this place is.
